How to choose a casino payment method
Start from the payout, not the deposit. Ask how you want to be paid and deposit that way. The closed loop then does the rest: almost every casino on the board pays the deposit method back first.
Prefer rails that run at weekends. Faster Payments, Visa Direct and PayPal move money on Saturday and Sunday. Standard card refunds and bank wires wait for Monday.
Check both directions. Google Pay, Paysafecard and pay-by-phone deposits are easy, but most casinos cannot pay them back. If you use one, add a fast payout method in your name before you win.
Mind the limits. E-wallet caps can be low: Mr Vegas pays MuchBetter up to £2,300 a time, Paddy Power pays PayPal up to £5,000. For big wins, bank transfer limits are far higher, up to £250,000 at MONOPOLY Casino, Virgin Games and Coral.
Deposit with the method you want to be paid to: debit card with Visa Direct, PayPal or open banking.
Deposit-only methods
Some methods only go one way. A Paysafecard voucher is a code that cannot receive money, so casinos pay winnings by bank instead; NetBet is the exception, paying a registered mypaysafecard account in 1–5 hours. Google Pay is deposit-only at MONOPOLY Casino and Virgin Games, while Parimatch pays it back within four hours. In each case the speed of your payout depends on the second method you add, so pick a fast one.
Casino payment methods grouped by speed
Minutes. Open banking at MrQ (10–20 minutes), PayPal at Grosvenor and NetBet (most within 15 minutes), Mastercard at Mecca Bingo and Rialto (within 15 minutes), PayID at Golden Crown (13 minutes in a test) and Interac at Vegas Now (instant). Crypto belongs here too: Shuffle pays 90% of withdrawals in under a minute.
Hours. Trustly at NetBet and Mr Vegas (1–5 hours), Google Pay at Parimatch (within 4 hours of approval), Visa debit at Ladbrokes and Jackpotjoy (within 4 hours), and Skrill, Neteller and MuchBetter at most UK casinos (4–24 hours).
Days. Standard bank wires and card refunds that do not use Visa Direct or Mastercard Send usually take 1–5 banking days, which is why the fast casinos above push to cards instead of refunding them.
Deposit and withdrawal methods: which ones work both ways
A method that can take a deposit and receive a payout keeps the loop closed, which is the quickest path. Cards with push payouts, PayPal, Skrill, Neteller, MuchBetter, Jeton, AstroPay, Revolut, Trustly, open banking, PayID, Interac and crypto all work in both directions. Paysafecard, Neosurf, Flexepin, POLi, iDEAL, UPI, Mercado Pago, Amex and pay-by-phone are mostly deposit-only, so the casino pays you by bank, e-wallet or crypto instead. If you deposit with one of those, add the payout method before the first withdrawal so the casino does not have to ask.
Fees on casino payment methods
The casino fee is usually zero: Coolbet, FortuneJack, Lucky Block and Spartans state none. Costs, where they exist, come from elsewhere: a network fee on crypto (cents on TRC-20, Solana or Litecoin, more on Bitcoin and Ethereum), a currency conversion if your wallet and casino account use different currencies, and a fee from the e-wallet itself when you move money on to a bank. Matching the currency of the casino account, the payout method and your bank removes most of them.

Questions and answers
What is the fastest casino payment method for withdrawals?
Open banking (Instant Bank Transfer, Pay by Bank), PayPal and debit cards paid by Visa Direct or Mastercard Send. At the quickest casinos these land in minutes; standard card refunds and bank wires take working days.
Which casino payment methods are deposit-only?
Paysafecard vouchers, pay by phone (Boku and similar) and, at most casinos, Google Pay. Winnings are then paid to another method in your name, usually a bank account.
Can I deposit with one method and withdraw with another?
Usually not at first. Casinos pay back to the deposit method first, and several only let you switch with a small balance: under £10 at MrQ, under £50 at MONOPOLY Casino and Virgin Games.
