How we time payouts

We do not time payouts with a stopwatch. We read what each casino commits to in writing, keep its exact wording, and rank casinos by how short, specific and conditional that commitment is.

What we read

For every casino on the board we read, in this order:

  1. The help-centre article on withdrawal times, usually titled "How long will my withdrawal take?".
  2. The payments or banking table, for per-method times, minimums, maximums and fees.
  3. The terms and conditions sections on withdrawals, verification and limits.

Help centres hosted on vendor platforms (Zendesk, Intercom and similar) count as the casino's own pages. Review sites and forums do not count as sources, however often they are quoted.

How we treat the wording

Casino saysWe record
"within 60 seconds"a deadline
"1–5 hours"a window
"most withdrawals… within minutes"a typical case, labelled "most"
"we aim to" / "strive to"a target, labelled "aim"
"after approval"a window with an untimed first step

Where the help centre and the terms disagree, as NetBet's 1–5 hours and its terms' 2–48 hours do, we show both and say which is which.

How the board is ordered

A casino ranks higher when it publishes:

  • a time in minutes or hours rather than days;
  • the time for a named method rather than for "withdrawals";
  • a deadline rather than an aim, and a penalty if it misses;
  • clear verification, cancel and limit rules.

Partner status plays no part in this order.

Screenshots and dates

Screenshots are taken in a server browser from the casino's own pages, in English, with no account. The date on each page header is the date we last read the sources. We re-read the board's casinos at least monthly and whenever a reader reports a change.

What we will not do

We do not describe ways around a casino's country restrictions. And we do not present a casino's stated time as our own test.
